Good morning all. I am Rick Bayne - Landscape Partnerships Manager for the Kent Downs AONB Unit and new to the forum. I just wanted to give a quick heads up on an event being run this Friday in Kent. We are about to embark on a new EU Interreg project called ICAReS (Innovation Cluster Accelerating Remote Sensing) and are kicking it off with a conference. It is being run as a partnership with colleagues in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and we are now able to open up places to others outside the partnership who have an interest in the use of remote sensing techniques. A flyer is attached to this post and places are free. Speakers include:

Miriam Westbrook - Atkins: Using Sentinal data to map soil erosion risk in catchments

Alastair Graham - Geoger: Landscape Earth Observation data processing

Peter Franken - Skeye BV: Remote sensing with LiDAR and Photogrammetry

Simon Spratley - Atec-3D: Innovation in the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

If you would like to attend, please email me at
